Sydney welcomes the global broadcasting community

The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society is delighted to bring the 22nd IEEE International Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting to Sydney, Australia in July 2027 — the first time BMSB will be hosted in the Asia-Pacific's most iconic harbour city.

Since its founding, BMSB has been the premier forum for the presentation and exchange of technical advances in the rapidly converging areas of multimedia broadcasting, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and networking technologies. The 2027 edition will continue this tradition with a program of peer-reviewed research papers, keynotes from industry and academic leaders, technical panels, tutorials, workshops, and an industry exhibition.

BMSB 2027 is hosted by the AI Security & Privacy (AISP) Lab at the Australian AI Institute (AAII), University of Technology Sydney — a globally ranked institution at the forefront of AI-driven communications, multimedia systems, and trustworthy AI research. We invite you to join us in Sydney for three days of world-class research and an unforgettable Australian experience.
